Laura has worked for marketing agencies for 10 years. She comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience in B2B marketing and internal communications.
Working with John Lloyd, Account Director at Outlook, Laura will prove to be a valuable addition to the team, offering support and direction for Outlook’s growing client relationships.
Having spent her first month with us, we asked her to reflect on the first 30 days in the job.
It’s really great to be part of a Client Services team again, planning and working together to satisfy client objectives. The culture at Outlook is exactly what I expected from an agency of this caliber; very free flowing and relaxed, but at the same time, organised, busy and hard working. You could almost use the swan analogy of the feet moving quickly under the water while the bird glides across the water.
In fact it’s already clear that we have so much talent at Outlook, from the way we inspire and communicate with clients, to what we deliver and put our name on. My first week was a challenge learning everyone’s names, (we have so many faces and characters here). But I enjoyed spending time with each department getting to grips with the five disciplines at Outlook.
It’s a lot to get into one environment but the teams thrive on working together. It’s refreshing to see the ideas and creativity bouncing around the room. The enthusiasm for what we create for our clients is inspiring.
The attention to detail in this part of the agency is probably the reason for the peaceful atmosphere in the video office. The time and care taken to design, shoot and refine content that in the end seems so effortless is a key factor in what makes Outlook leaders in this field.
These guys work so hard. They often bring all the forces of Outlook together to deliver a show, event or exhibition, sometimes on the other side of the world. Events is such a huge part of why I joined Outlook. It’s the tangible experience marketing that I really enjoy and missed in some of my previous roles. Their passion for creating the best environment possible is something to be admired.
In my role at Outlook I’m looking forward to interpreting objectives, creating campaign solutions and strategies that deliver. I have a strong love for digital platforms and new technologies, with a passion for finding new methods of getting messages in front of audiences.
All in all I am a creative thinker and problem solver. I like finding the right strategy and qualify my ideas through measurement and results. I’m also very fortunate to be working with a world-leading medical technology client.
