Account Manager

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated professional, with experience in the Marcomms/Communication industry, working with our biggest and most enjoyable clients.

Job Role

As an Account Manager, you will be involved at every stage of the project from brief forming and interrogation, through response shaping and into delivery with ownership of your own projects.

Working closely with key stakeholders you will manage and oversee all project lifecycle requirements, such as creating specifications, timelines, and budgets from the client’s brief, all the way through to project delivery.

We have a range of Blue Chip clients, across a number of sectors including industry-leading names in Healthcare, Energy, Financial Services and Automotive.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has 2 years previous experience in a similar role within an agency environment in the Marcomms/Communication industry
  • Is experienced in dealing with a variety of clients and their associated needs
  • Has the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Has experience of interrogating and interpreting briefs, and shaping and writing proposals
  • Is self-motivated, driven to deliver, and uses own initiative with a solution-focused approach
  • Has strong verbal and written communication skills, and is confident working both independently and as part of team

This is being advertised as a full-time role and is primarily home-based, with a hot-desking office in Northampton.

Scope of role

The role will incorporate the following key responsibilities: Supporting the client, the account lead and Leadership Team in all aspects of account management, working across departments and disciplines, including but not limited to:

  • Day to day client liaison on projects as directed
  • Brief interrogation
  • Response shaping and proposal writing
  • Budget management
  • Account reporting
  • Project delivery
  • Ongoing management of long term projects
  • Ensuring that client expectations are met and exceeded
