GLP is a leading global investment manager and business builder in logistics, real estate, infrastructure, finance and related technologies which are deeply invested in businesses that make the modern world run more efficiently.
They were looking for a creative way to communicate their culture of sustainability to their international teams at the GLP Global Gathering event. They wanted to inform and inspire new and existing employees about the things they can do every day to support sustainability at their site.
The construction and operations teams, in particular, wanted to show how seriously they took their pledge to work toward zero carbon emissions, celebrate their achievements and state their intent for future sustainable solutions in engaging communication with high production value.
Working closely with their development partners, Thrive, we wrote a script for an inspirational video designed to increase understanding of the ongoing sustainable initiatives.
The video, packed full of their achievements and long-term ambition, was designed to be different from the other video content in GLP’s portfolio.
The stylised narrative focused on two young child performers realising the immediate and long-term impact of climate change, before discovering and celebrating these initiatives in wonder. As the children move and explore, they are supported by a rousing voiceover – with a blend of practical props and set dressing, VFX for milestones and accomplishments, and drone content to link to the green spaces and biodiversity at the Milton Keynes site.
A flagship piece of promotional material that motivates and inspires both internal and external audiences to think more about sustainability.
