GLP is a leading global investment manager and business builder in logistics, real estate, infrastructure, finance and related technologies which are deeply invested in businesses that make the modern world run more efficiently.
Following the government’s advice over the COVID-19 pandemic, GLP was looking for a solution that would eliminate the risk of exposure to their employees and their delegates while enabling them to continue to communicate with their audience remotely.
Combining our in-house experience of virtual events, video production and website design, we’re able to provide a solution that enabled GLP to deliver their business update that also allowed for audience interactivity.
We created a dedicated gated landing page with an embedded video player that streamed a live broadcast of the virtual breakfast briefing. To ensure the highest quality, we worked with GLP’s presenters to remotely pre-record their keynote presentations, allowing for minor editing to finesse the final versions.
The ‘breakfast briefing’ went live at 09:00 as usual, running smoothly for the whole half an hour session, with all delegates logging in to watch over 1,500 minutes of content combined.
The pre-recorded keynote video offered viewers a business update in detail. At the same time, two presenters from GLP were available for a live Q&A session, all from the safety of their own homes.
Outlook provided the perfect alternative to our planned breakfast launch event. The technology was accessible and easy to use for the elements of pre-recording required and on the day, despite a quick turnaround required, the production was seamless. Being the first Investor/Developer to launch a scheme in this way in our sector was a bit of a gamble and Outlook provided great support and knowledge to ensure the smooth running of the event. We have had a great response from those that attended and would certainly use it again.
