Nikon Microscopy & Outlook Creative
Laying the groundwork for long-term impact
Introduction

Nikon Microscopy is one of the world’s leading microscope pioneers, having recently celebrated 100 years of expanding scientific possibilities with its optical technologies.

Our relationship with them began in the summer of 2023, and while in many ways we’re just getting started, our collaboration has gone from strength to strength ever since.

As with any partnership, these formative years are everything—the time when you build strong foundations, foster trust and learn how to work together in a way that results in next-level solutions (like this one here).

“A huge thank you for everything you did to make the Micropia exhibition a success… The design elements are fantastic, and attendees were very positive about the look and content… Great work. ”

Legacy

It started with a brief for a single event in Copenhagen. But we had an inkling from those very first conversations that there was real potential to add value beyond the initial ask.

Turns out, we were right. After we developed a creative and strategic plan rooted in sustainable production, consistency and economies of scale, the Nikon team entrusted us with not only their exhibition booth for Copenhagen but also their entire European events programme.

To get the strategy ball rolling, we hopped on a short flight to Amsterdam for a creative workshop together. In an incredibly productive few hours, we stripped things back to basics, identified Nikon’s most pressing needs and mapped out exactly how we could meet them.

And the rest, as they say, is history.

Looking forward

From a standing start following a competitive pitch, we’ve now delivered 50+ projects spanning every Outlook Creative service offering, including 9 major events in the UK, France, Italy, Lithuania, Austria, the Netherlands and Germany.

We’ve also used the insights from our workshop to create an Events Toolkit. This practical, go-to guide contains everything Nikon colleagues need to bring the brand to life at events, whether that’s tips for building a strong amplification strategy or accurate specs for supporting assets. Over the long term, the Toolkit will play a vital role in establishing a consistent yet adaptable presence in local markets.

In just a couple of years, we’ve built a much-valued and creatively inspiring partnership founded on quality service, confidence and forward momentum. The Nikon Microscopy team trusts us to deliver consistently—and that’s opened doors to new projects, new stakeholders and new regions.

We look forward to seeing where it takes us next!
