Our many years of experience mean we know a thing or two about product videos. Couple that with an ongoing partnership with a great client, and you have the ingredients for an exciting project evolution—like this pair of animations we delivered for Salts Healthcare.
Having worked together on previous product launches over the last ten years, we were excited to be collaborating again to help launch Confidence BE go™, the first ‘naked’ stoma bag to come with a choice of six covers.
The brief, in a nutshell, was: “We want them to look sleek, like iPhone ads.” An innovative solution for an innovative product—the kind of challenge we accept with relish!
Our previous video projects for Salts have all featured on-screen text. Apple, however, is of course known for its super-refined, minimalist product focus, so a shift in approach was needed.
We proposed a VO-led solution that prioritised visual interest and dynamic movement to showcase the product in a sleek and attention-capturing way.
Rather than cluttering the frames with copy, we dialled up the storytelling via an engaging script, delivered by a voiceover artist, that complemented the visuals without detracting from their impact.
Meanwhile, having been sent a BE go™ stoma bag by the Salts team, our expert animators had everything they needed to create a 3D render that replicated the product’s soft, woven polyester texture with maximum realism.
Our two finished animations went down a storm, receiving incredibly positive feedback from the Salts team.
Pivoting to a VO-led approach helped us nail that sleek, Apple-inspired feel we wanted, marking a clear evolution in movement and dynamism when held up alongside the product animations we delivered previously.
